Rellow

A SaaS for US realtors that drafts listing copy and runs a fair-housing review on every line before it reaches a client: Next.js 16 with Clerk, Supabase and Stripe, taken from concept to a launch-hardened private beta.

The Rellow landing page styled as a newspaper: a navy private-beta banner with a waitlist email field, a cream masthead reading Rellow, The Daily Desk, and the headline Listing copy in thirty seconds, filed without a fair-housing flag.

Overview

Real-estate agents write listing copy under two pressures: it has to sell, and it must not describe a home in language the Fair Housing Act forbids. Rellow is a single-vertical SaaS built for exactly that: a desk where an agent pulls in an active listing, drafts from a library of five hundred vetted prompts, and gets a fair-housing review on every line before anything is filed. It is a Next.js 16 App Router application in TypeScript and Tailwind. Clerk gates the dashboard and the API routes; Supabase holds profiles, listings and generations with row-level security on every public table; Stripe runs a seven-day trial subscription with monthly and yearly prices; the Anthropic API powers the prompt library and the linter; and Resend sends transactional email through an hourly cron drainer. The interface is designed as a broadsheet - a cream masthead, a navy private-beta banner, editorial type - because the product is about publishing words, and the design says so. It runs on Vercel as an invite-only beta with a public waitlist.

Engineering highlights

  • Forty-five routes on the main branch: twenty-one pages from landing and pricing through the dashboard desk, listings, history, library, team and settings, and twenty-four API routes
  • Clerk gates the dashboard and every API route; Supabase holds profiles, listings and generations behind row-level security enabled on every public table
  • Stripe Checkout with a seven-day trial that asks for no card, monthly and yearly prices, webhook persistence into Supabase and a billing portal
  • A free public fair-housing linter as the top of the funnel, and a rate limiter enforced atomically in Postgres on the model-backed endpoints
  • Team plans with seats and invitations, a referral waitlist, email opt-out and a full data export for every account
  • Transactional email through Resend, drained hourly by an external cron so the request path never waits on a mail provider
